Just starting the thread early

Based on the performance list as of 1 May 2022, I have scored the ranking. The ranking does not consider whether persons are doubling or not in certain events like 200m and 400m and also 400m and 800m.
Also many persons are yet to run the 10,000m so the 10,000m ranking could be misleading

On the men side it seems like it is going to be Alabama with a strong distance, throws and jumps crew for 133.5 points

The Aggies will be 3rd with 88 points while Arkansas is second with 97 points and Florida with 82.

On the women side it seems to be a little closer with LSU 1st with 114 points, Florida second with 110 points and the Aggies 3rd with 108.5 points

Please note that Anna Hall is top 8 in many events Heptathlon (1st), 400m hurdles (2nd), Long Jump (3rd). She is also 9th in 800m and 10th in the high jump. So we just have to wait and see which events she does.

USATF nationals actually start this weekend with the combined events? I assume Anna is there for us, no idea whether she is expected to get through. But regardless, I wonder if she even competes the following weekend?

Just wondering who are the 30 Aggie men and 30 Aggie women selected for the SEC outdoor championship?

Anna Hall will be competing in the US multi championships this weekend. So I assume next week she would only be doing individual events like the HJ and 400 Hurdles. Kyle Garland of Georgia will be doing the same so I don't expect him in the multis next weekend either.

On Instagram, Anna Hall confirms she will be competing only in the 400 Hurdles and Long Jump. The 400 hurdles is going to be a crazy race, with Britton Wilson (Arkansas), Hall, Masai Russell (Kentucky), DESHAE WISE, and Vanessa Watson (Florida). All have gone low 56 or less.

Book the women's 400 hurdles as my favorite race of the weekend, as well as, the girls 800!

Zhane Smith hasn't recovered fully and would not be competing at SECs

Darn would have love to see her get a mark in the long jump, but more importantly I hope she's healthy for regionals or nationals for the relay. Guess we'll go with last week's lineup for Jania Martin, Laila Owens, Kaylah Robinson, Deshae Wise

Her prelim time puts her at 39th in the west. Hopefully not many fast time comes from this weekend but that's a tough ask… there could be some 1500 runners on the list not declare, but it'll be tough! Let's hope she can squeeze in. Don't know why she rarely ran any 800's this year
