Hodgkinson lost today in the Diamond League 800m running a 1:58

Got boxed in for the first lap and was gassed in the last 200 it seemed. Moraa looked REALLY strong.

I still think what Mu has is her name! These girls will be scared to push the pace and get too far ahead out of Mu so Mu will control the pace and run her race! I just wish she had more reps in her!
Athing has shown she is multidimensional and can win in all sorts of race plans thrown out here. Rest assured though, they are all trying to figure out her weaknesses.

I think Lamara is out of eligibility! She'll make good money in the pro circuit!
I think she has ran a long season already including indoors. I think she peaked in Paris. We will see at Worlds.
Lamara Distin has 1 more year eligibility. She came in January 2020 and she redshirted Indoors in 2020 and outdoors 2020 got cancelled so she only competed for us in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
I hope hope she use this extra year and stay with us. Many have used their extra year and leave us for other schools.

Tyra Gittens finished 6th in the long jump at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) games with a best jump of 6.19m. Her series were 6.19m, 6.13m, X, 5.68m, 6.13m and 5.58m.
She is still trying to attain the qualifying standard for the world championship
Since she left us she has been a completed different athlete

Distin cleared 6'2" for 6th place.

Kerley ran 9.98 for 2nd in the 100m, while Deadmon got 6th in the 400m at 44.81. Of note, Sha'Carri Richardson edged out Shericka Jackson 10.76 to 10.78, and Ingebrigtsen got another stunning PB in the 1500 -- the WR doesn't look far away for him.

she's been tracking that way in the open 400m for a while, to the point going into worlds last year I thought she should have switched to that.
