Hope Gittens and Bamidele are out only for precautionary reasons! That'll be funny if your 4x400 relays can lock up a nationals spot in December lol! Henry usually mixes the orders this early, which could still happen lol! Hopefully Yeboah can take his outdoor improvements and improve indoor as well, we need points from the short sprints! I'm interested in what Zhane Smith is going to do in the 60 and long jump! Hopefully Deborah Acquah and Lamara Distin carry on right where they left off! Let's see how Heather Abadie stacks up with a loaded field in the pole vault!

Also can't believe Arkansas is making all their distance runners compete, even with cross nationals just a couple weeks ago! But that 1000 with Bailey Goggans will be fun! Can't wait to see where she stands with Maloney and Owen of Arkansas!

Track is back

Best time to get your indoor 5k time qualifiers is right after XC nationals.

That makes sense! Just thought you'd want to give them a little break so they're fresh till June! Last year they did indoor, outdoor, and cross and they all faded during outdoor and couldn't peak at regionals/nationals! But I might be a little biased...

Yeah, they're basically at their peak right now from XC so take advantage of it then take a break.

Why are the Arkansas runners listed as unattached. Does it have anything to do with eligibility?

I was wondering that too, it's common the freshman or a few may compete unattached but it's nearly most of their roster??? Which doesn't make sense to have upperclassmen compete unattached unless they're out of indoor eligibility! Really curious too?

Lamara Distin and Allyson Andress kick things off in the women's high jump at 1:45, followed by Michael Schmuhl, Zach Davis, and Caleb Murdoch in the pole vault at 2! I don't thing field events will be live streamed!

Keanu Jones opens with a 6.82 in the 60 after a slow start!! What a debut for the freshman! That time in December would have just missed the loaded SEC 60 meter final!

Emmanuel Yeboah goes 6.76 for a great season debut! Ryan Martin goes 6.85! Yeboah places 2nd overall, Jones 7th, Martin 11th!

Bailey Goggans makes a risky move to pull ahead of Olympian and NCAA All American Shafiqua Maloney in the 1000 but it comes back to bite her and as she falls to 3rd but a solid race for her collegiate debut!

Moitalel Mpoke comes in 3rd at 1:16.92

Splits of 24.11, 24.96, 26.43

One more 26 second split and that's a 1:41, safe to say he's in 1:45/46 shape
