Apparently Distin jumped that 6'1.75 from a short approach... big jumps coming soon!

What happened to women 4x400 relay team? DNF
Yeah I'm not sure what happened, they didn't say the names so I couldn't tell who started but they fell off at the end and then we had Deshae Wise go 2nd, even though she's not a 400 runner and she fell far back into 3rd and Arkansas' unattached runners increased the lead! The camera never even showed who has the 3rd or 4th leg, but I hope it wasn't an injury! I think we had handed off the last exchange so I'm assuming it was the 4th runner... I hate when they do give us the names!

Yeah Robinson-Jones got off to a fantastic start than lost it the last 20-30 meters and a poor exchange and poor leg from Wise took us out of it... she's never ran an open 400 so not sure why she ran it. I assume Coach Henry wanted to just try people out and didn't want to risk injuries. Which is why he scratched the B relays and didn't let people like Bamidele, Mpoke, Miller, or Young and Owens run.
On a side note, the way Laila Owens looked in that 300 was scary, she ran that time and eased up at the end! Can't wait to see how she looks in the 400. And I'm glad Jania Martin looked good running as well coming off her injury!

It seems like all the jump athletes competed using short approach.
