Last event (steeple) is starting now.
I've been impressed by Mu's tactics in both rounds. She gets to the front and stays out any potential trouble. She looks ready to go under 1:57 in the final.
Her and Ajee Wilson are gonna have a crazy kick the last 125-150! I wonder who's gonna make the move first?!?!?!

85 degrees on the track Runners were wearing cooling vests in the warmup area.

Rogers placed 2nd in 2012 even after falling and getting stepped on but was 14 seconds off the standard! In 2016 she was dealing with injuries and placed 13th at the trials... she's fought to get here so it would be amazing if she were to advance this year. She has the 9th seeded time but in a 10k anything can happen! She's been in 2nd the entire race 10 minutes in!
Rogers has fallen out of qualifying contention and with less than 3 laps to go she is in 7th

I never heard exactly why Rogers didn't run her senior year in 2013 and in that video she said why. I think the Trials in 2012 was only her 4th 10k race.
Sisson just ran a crazy gutsy race, like wow! And it seems like Rogers has been dealing with a lot of mental issues when it came to running... granted she finished in 7th it's still good to see she's in a better place mentally

Really rough! 3rd place is going to need a field day! I've got my money on Taliyah Brooks to finish 3rd but I don't think she gets the standard, Hall hasn't looked like herself so I'm curious to see where she's at health wise!

Fred is gonna have a tough heat in the 200 but is in the more favorable one. He'll have to place top 3 in this heat to automatically advance. Young and Bednarek look good so hopefully Kerley can best Boling and Hudson. Lane 9 can be favorable for Fred as he struggles more on the curve so it could be good!
Shamier got a tough draw as well but it should not really impact her! Muhammed should pace her well as Muhammed likes to get out fast! Little just needs to make sure she can take down Ashley Spencer and Anna Cockrell!

100% but I agree with your comments yesterday about that first 120 of his! Him in lane 9 can alleviate that. Running blind and with the shorting curve he can just go all out!

She's not in the fast 200 heat but needs to win her heat and not let Williams, Brooks, and Bougard run that much of a faster time! Kunz is looking good so far!
