In the steeplechase the water jump is in the center of the curve. At Cushing it's offset to one side. What does that do with the spacing of the other hurdles? Just seems a bit strange.

Good question, I think the barriers remain the same regardless of the water jump! I know some water jumps are outside lane 9 and some will be on the front part of the curve! Poster Zephyr will know way more on this, he's the steepler!
