There is no need to eat crow. This team clearly exceeded all expectations. Really remarkable since our usually reliable doubles was an adventure every match. The good news is that we improved as the year went on, and the bulk of our team will return. I am told we have some real strong young players who will be available next year. The trick now will be to get back to Athens for the NCAA championship.

The Aggies have signed Juan Carlos Aguilar to a tennis scholarship. This has been in the works for some time, but it is always great to close the deal. Congratulations to Steve and Kevin for bringing this elite player to Aggieland.

Have we ever signed anyone with a higher ITF Junior ranking ? What are the chances of him turning pro and not coming here ?

Grigorov was 5. Aguilar's ranking is partly based on his doubles results as well. Where as Grigorov's was not.
