Kawhi with a torn meniscus.

Apparently his camp hasnt communicated his injuries/availability to the Clippers until last minute from game to game, frustrating Ty Lue. Sound familiar?

Glad he's off our team but wish we would have gotten more for him. If only he didn't tank his value.

Also, Kawhi's sister was convicted of 1st Degree murder of an 84yo woman. She followed the woman into a bathroom of a casino, beat her to death and stole $1000.

I'm all about bringing someone from Pop's tree back when Pop retires. Would feel much better if it was someone as HC but with a strong right hand person as associate HC or whatever. Pair Bud or Quin or Becky etc with a Brett. We good to go.

Also low-key hoping once Manu's boys are older maybe he'll try coaching.

I would agree with this. Lead assistant, yes. Head Cheese calling plays/making adjustments under pressure, not so much.

He was assistant for 4 of our championships, head coach for the Bucks' championship and COY twice. We could do a lot worse.

Bud's brother died right before game 4, so I think it is understandable that he was likely a bit distracted. Plus Giannis was hurt in the series. I don't think this 1st round loss really defines him as a coach.

I'm not a fan. He's developed a reputation for being the least creative and most flexible good coach in the league. I out him on the level of Doc Rivers. Really nice career but I think there's better options to be found.

That's fine, and he very well may need some time away from being a HC to reevaluate and retune. But if Pop hangs on to a guy from 1996-2013, I'm gonna assume that guy is pretty good at what he does. He certainly turned the Bucks around after they fired Kidd.

I'm not going to judge a guy too harshly because he made some mistakes in the playoffs with an injured superstar right after his brother died in a car accident.

Bud has his weaknesses but I would be totally fine with him being the next guy. He's got a 60% winning percentage, a winning record in the playoffs, 2 COTY awards, and a title. He gets a little wide eyed under the bright lights but his teams always play extremely hard and he has a habit of getting the most out of his guys to create a team greater than the sum of its parts. 35 year old Brook Lopez was just a top 2 DPOY candidate under him and Kyle Korver was an all star under him. I'd be surprised if he were available to us.

If true that's hilarious. Is an expansion team going to a San Diego?

What's funny is that the Clippers are effed. They will get pennies on the dollar for Kawhi. No one is giving up a haul for him.

No matter the ownership, that franchise will always be cursed and I love it.

Kawhi orchestrated his dream scenario in LA. In 4 years, he has played about 160 regular season games and 25 playoff games and they have yet to break that magical 50-win mark.

He's turning 32 and is owed 2y94mm. He's been a pain in the ass everywhere he has been, refuses to communicate his status, leaving teams to question if he will even show up right up until gametime and misses flights and is late to practice.

He took off an entire season for an PARTIALLY torn ACL and now has a miniscus tear in the same knee.

Who wants that? I feel like a team is only really going to want to offer another overpaid or disgruntled/problem player.

Gobert? Tobias? Ben Simmons? Dallas could send them like Hardaway and Bertans. Atl could send Bogdan and Collins. Miami could send Lowry and Duncan Robinson. The possibilities for the Clippers are endless.

Skip was super Anti-Kawhi when Kawhi was pulling his bull**** with the Spurs. Uncle Dennis confronted Skip about that and Skip has basically been a Kawhi mouthpiece ever since.
