Sup you crazy autoboard buttholes. Its been a good long while since posting much over here, but i am always lurking and stalking yall from behind the perverbial bushes.



How old were you when you first discovered your passion for vehicles?

Like many others have said, it started young playing with hotwheels and turning wrenches with my grandfather on his old GMC Pickup (need to try and find some old archive photos). He was a Pearl Harbor veteran stationed at Hickam Field and flew B-17's, including off tarmac during the attack. He got me into vintage aviation which drove my love for planes & cars.

I have known many of yall since we were expecting our first kid, she is now almost 6 and our son will be 3 this year. I am starting them young in passing along much of the same passion as they love going to local cars shows and visiting the local CAF hangars. I hope they learn to appreciate and love automotive and mechanical things as they grow and learn to see what things are possible across such platforms.

If you were to build a sleeper with a typical budget, what vehicle would you use and what power plant would you use?

i realize its not much of a 'sleeper' in car culture, but i would love to have a big nasty 80's Buick T-Type with a bigass turbo to light sh*t up in.



What state would you reside in if you weren't able to live in Texas?

Probably Colorado as we love the mountains, although if it werent stuck out there all on its lonesome, i could definately do Hawaii living. Big Island or Kauai





Most f'ed up car/driving story of your life?

Sophomore year at A&M, had me and 5 buddies in my quad-cab headed to Austin to watch the Ags/sip basketball game. Driving up 290 into Austin and some lady STOPS in the left lane to turn onto a farm road. One truck in front of us doesnt see her until last second and begins to swerve. In less that 3 seconds, or 3 pumps of the ABS we run up and rear end him going about 60 (enough to imprint CHEVROLET into my hood). Somehow we all make it out of the truck with nothing but minor scrapes and bruises but walk away. turns out buddy in the middle of the backseat was not buckled and took the brunt on the shins on middle console. Not crazy F'd up, but the one thing that really made us realize how close we came to it being really bad and realizing how important it is to actually drive pretty defensively, since you never know what yayhoos in front of you will do.



The other involves pulling a trailer in the West Texas ice storm last year as an 18 wheeler passed us and proceeded to completely flip in front of us ... ill have to add to that later.


Favorite/least favorite beer?

Favorite - Russian River Brewing Pliny the Elder


Least - Saint Arnold Winter Stout - lets just say a Saint A softball tourney in the heat of Houston summer where that was one of the only beers offered has pretty much ruined me on it. Pretty much any HOT beer.



Drink of choice?

Cold beer anytime. Lately, lots of Vodka/Topo with a lime

Usually tootin' on a big ol rambler stiffie
