How old were you when you first discovered your passion for vehicles?
Probably 3 or 4 years old. My mom likes to tell me that I was mesmerized by the way the wheels went 'round and 'round. My first Hot Wheels was a black Chrysler minivan. In 3rd grade, my friends and I started a car design club. As a kid, I had subscriptions to Motor Trend and Automobile magazine.
Would you ever lower a truck?
Eh, probably not.
What's your preferred jam while hoonage ensues?
If I'm feelin' supa-fly, I'll jam to a hip-hop/rap playlist on Spotify; Justin TImberlake makes an appearance every now and then for some swagger music; Coldplay; Maroon 5; Texas country music. I'll jam to pretty much anything while driving.
What's your typical Whataburger order?
Either the chicken strips, chicken strip sangwich, or an A-1 thick n hearty. With a Dr Pepper. And spicy ketchup.
How do you like your steak cooked?
Medium-rare. With just a little bit of salt and pepper for seasoning.
If you were to build a sleeper with a typical budget, what vehicle would you use and what power plant would you use?
I'd find a way to combine #VeeDubLuv with some American V8 power.
What state would you reside in if you weren't able to live in Texas?
Texas. I lived out of state for 3.5 years and spent the whole time wishing to get back to the Lone Star State.
Most f'ed up car/driving story of your life?
Probably the time I witnessed domestic violence and child endangerment while driving south on 35 in Oklahoma. Baby daddy and momma driving in a while Cadillac doing 80-85 MPH swerving all over the road. Baby momma reaches over and starts beating daddy on the skull, lunges at his neck. Baby daddy slaps her really hard. Baby momma lunges at him again. I call 911 when I realize there's a small child in a carseat riding in the back. Crazy stuff in Oklahoma; must be all of the meth.
Favorite/least favorite beer?
My go-to beer is Shiner. Although, I've recently discovered the beauty of the local craft beers in Dallas.
Least favorite? Anything with "light" or "lite" in the name. Might as well drink water.
Drink of choice?
Alcohol: Draft beer or if I'm feeling fahncy, I'll go for a glass of red wine. I love me some red wine.
Non-alcoholic: Dr Pepper or iced tea (unsweet)
What do you want your next vehicle to be?
I'd like to get something with a big V8. Like a Moostang or CTS-V Wagon. I've had a string of FWD vehicles and it would be neat to switch it up a little. Or a truck; I do miss my Suburban. Or maybe an old Merc or Bimmer.
How many JCI chili cheese dogs can you eat in one sitting?
I really have no idea.
Which car do you want to shove off a cliff?
So many options here. But, I'm going with the Nissan Altima. So ugly.

1. Driving cars - I love to drive.
2. Shopping for cars - I can't tell you how much time I've wasted on cars.com over the years
3. Washing my car - It's super relaxing for me and it gives me a chance to check my car for stuff.
Preferred city for getting crunk?
Dallas. Although, it's always a good time in Aggieland. Getting crunk in Iowa City is a lot of fun, too. Those midwesterners can party hardy.
Origin of user name?
Originally, I drove a hatchback. Once I stopped driving a hatchback, I changed it to a mash-up of my first and last name. I had no idea that this was such a contentious issue with you people
Maybe I'll change it back to hatchback, but I'm trying to come up with something else...
