idiot...of course the monkey will know how to fly the plane. Anybody can be a pilot, including monkeys who have never seen a cockpit before. Flaps adjusted, throttle up, pull up.......easy. I doubt he can land it though

OK, so let's assume the monkey gets the plane up, as apparently any living creature should be able to do this. I agree that landing would be difficult, but let's also assume the monkey could land the plane on a normal runway.
NOW- what if the monkey had to do 3 passes around the airport and then land on the conveyor belt runway he took off from? Will it land?

No because only trained pilots have the skill to land a plane....a monkey doesn't have the skill.
the monkey creates sufficient lift for the plain, gosh!!!
What if it was a really smart monkey- like koko the sign language monkey, one of the monkeys that flew a rocket into space, or that monkey that was in Outbreak?
What if it was a NASA monkey? That monkey might be smart enough to land the plane.
But I'm not sure I'd want to fly with some..

The plane WON'T Fly! I've been mistaken! The conveyor belt would provide so much torque that the plane would dive nose first into the runway!

Come on people! We haven't even considered the conservation of angular momentum! It the planes wheels are accelerated to such a high speed by the conveyor, it might be enough to tilt the plane so its jets provide thrust directed towards the ground!
