Texas A&M closed non-conference play with a statement on Sunday night as the Aggies defeated Stephen F. Austin at Ellis Field, 4-0. With the victory, the Maroon & White are now 4-3 on the year as SEC play begins on Friday at Kentucky.

Prior to Thursday's match with No. 19 TCU, Texas A&M head soccer coach Bobby Shuttleworth described the contest as a "litmus test" for his young Aggies. More tests figured to be ahead after the Maroon & White fell at Ellis Field, 3-0.

Texas A&M soccer has won back-to-back matches after the Aggies dealt Air Force its first loss of the season on Thursday evening at Ellis, 2-1. Finley Lacher opened the scoring, and Ireland Churchill added a first-half PK as the Ags held on in the second half.

It was all Aggies from the opening kickoff until the final whistle as Texas A&M defeated Sam Houston in Saturday evening's home opener at Ellis Field. With the 5-0 victory, the Maroon & White got back to .500 as they kicked off a four-game home stand in Aggieland.

Despite scoring early goals in both the first and second halves, Texas A&M somehow snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in a 3-2 loss at Texas State on Wednesday night. Mental mistakes in the final 15 minutes dealt the Aggies a major non-conference blow.

A two-goal deficit in the first half was too much for Bobby Shuttleworth & Co. to overcome as Texas A&M suffered its first loss of 2026. Following the 2-1 defeat at Baylor, Texas A&M turns its attention to another in-state road match later this week at Texas State.
