Director of Athletics Trev Alberts is teaching a sports management class on Texas A&M's campus this semester along with Dr. Gregg Bennett: SMPT 489, The Power of Sports. In his first lecture, Alberts offered an introduction to his experience in sports and much more.

On Wednesday morning, reports surfaced that Texas A&M is targeting Nebraska's Trev Alberts as its next Director of Athletics. TexAgs co-owner and executive editor Billy Liucci joined TexAgs Radio to react to the news and offer his thoughts on Alberts's coming to Aggieland.

After Texas A&M fired R.C. Slocum in 2002, the Aggies struggled through a period of mediocrity. However, Slocum's ouster doesn't even qualify as one of the ten worst college football firings since 2000.
