Despite falling to 0-3 in conference play, the Fightin' Texas Aggies made a much better showing in Thursday's 1-0 loss to No. 7 Alabama at Ellis Field. Taylor Jernigan returned to action for the first time since September 21, 2025 and made her presence felt on the pitch almost immediately.

1. A more team-centered offense. Although Texas A&M suffered its sixth loss of the season, there were several positives to take away from Thursday night’s match vs. No. 7 Alabama.

The offensive approach was fiery and looked more connected than it has all season. The Aggies strayed, though, in finishing in the attacking third.

A&M seemed so focused on staying connected and creating chances that they Aggies failed to capitalize on the opportunities they created.
