Key notes from Kendall Rogers interview

  • When Michael Earley went to look for a coach, it looked like he wanted a pro guy who had a modern approach to pitching. I know Earley interviewed two or three guys in pro ball, and they landed on Barry Enright. I’ve covered him since he was at Pepperdine. He was a hard-nosed guy who had good stuff. In a regional, he outdueled Max Scherzer. If you wanted to hire a guy with a modern, analytic approach, this is a really good hire.
