I agree with Moss that a solo one run homer early in the game won't kill you but I do believe that 3-4 homers/extra base hits in the same early inning will without a doubt. Sdao and our other starters need to be willing and able to spot fastballs on or just off the corners and just below/above the strike zone and not be entirely hung up on avoiding a walk to the opponents' better power bats. We can't get way down big right off the bat in this series if we want to have a chance to win it.

Key Notes from J.B. Moss Interview
- I’m still feeling pretty good. I know they took a loss at Texas State. That’s always a tough place to play. You always expect a few bumps in the road, both in conference and non-conference play, but I’m very much looking forward to this weekend.
- I would say that when it comes to playing a rival, when the schedule comes out, it’s something you circle on your calendar and look forward to.
