On Friday’s edition of TexAgs LIVE, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as fall sports are underway. Football kicks off against No. 7 Notre Dame on Saturday, baseball and softball released fall schedules and more.

The party will start at 3:30 p.m. and include free drinks and food for purchase. We will be serving up pizza from Brick and Ember and a College Station favorite, 1775 BBQ, all tailgate long.

Football takes on No. 7 Notre Dame
Mike Elko’s 20th-ranked Fightin’ Texas Aggies kick off their 2024 campaign against No. 7 Notre Dame this Saturday.

Johnny Manziel will be the guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay, along with an appearance from Von Miller.
Soccer heads north for bout with Baylor
The Battle of the Brazos will return on Friday night as Texas A&M soccer takes on the Baylor Bears in Waco. Coming off a 3-0 win to Fairfield, the Aggies hope to continue their momentum on the road against a former Southwest Conference and Big 12 opponent.

The Aggies are coming off a 3-0 victory over Fairfield and enter the match with a 2-1-0 record. Sydney Becerra leads the squad with three goals. The Maroon & White have two shutouts on the season with freshmen goalkeepers Sydney Fuller and Maysen Veronda registering one apiece.
Volleyball kicks off year two under Jamie Morrison
Texas A&M volleyball season officially begins this weekend as Jamie Morrison & Co. head to Mobile, AL, for a pair of matches in the Jaguar Invitational.
- Friday: South Alabama at 5:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+
- Saturday: McNeese State at 11:00 a.m. CT (No TV)
The Aggies enter the 2024 season following an outstanding first year under head coach Jamie Morrison, as he led the program back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in five seasons.
Baseball announces pair of fall ball opponents
The Aggies will host Houston Christian on Friday, October 4 and Houston on Friday, October 25 with both contests slated for a 6 p.m. start. Admission is free for both fall games, which are scheduled the night before a pair of Texas A&M football home games. (5th - Missouri, 26th - LSU)
Softball releases fall ball schedule
The Texas A&M softball team will host six games at Davis Diamond this fall.

Women’s golf kicks off 2024-25 campaign
Texas A&M women’s golf team begins its 2024-25 campaign at the historic Pebble Beach Golf Links at the Carmel Cup this weekend.
They are led by fourth-year head coach Gerrod Chadwell and 2024 NCAA Individual Champion Adela Cernousek.
Cross country gets going
Friday’s Cowboy Preview in Stillwater, Okla. will open up A&M cross country’s 2024 season.
