Last night was Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Baseball
The No. 20 Bulldogs have arrived in town for a top-20 showdown.

Softball
Trisha Ford’s Aggies played their last two midweeks.
- Tuesday: Run-ruled Houston 12-2

Basketball
There were two addition to the Aggie basketball roster this week:
- Nebraska guard C.J. Wilcher — 8.0 ppg, 2.3 rpg
- Minnesota forward Pharrel Payne — 9.1 ppg, 5.6 RPG, 62 games, 23 starts
Women’s basketball
Joni Taylor added LSU guard Janae Kent.
- She played in 32 games during her freshman season, with one start in the SEC Championship against South Carolina.
- Saw increased minutes as the season progressed
- In HS, She was a three-time First Team All-State and a recipient of the Daily Southdown Player of the Year Award.
- Invited to participate in USA Basketball and was a McDonald’s All-America Game nominee… An ESPN Top 100 recruit.
Volleyball
Mackenzie Collins of Houston Skyline has committed to Texas A&M.

Track & Field
The Texas A&M track & field team splits travel as it heads to the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Corky/Crofoot Shootout in Lubbock, Texas, April 25-27.

Men’s Golf
At the SEC Tournament, the Aggies remained seven strokes above the cutline for quarterfinal match play, sitting in sixth place with one round remaining.
The Aggies start Friday’s action with tee times this morning at hole No. 10. The Maroon & White are paired with Auburn and Tennessee for the final round.
