On Monday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as men's and women's basketball will play in the NCAA Tournament against Nebraska on Friday and much more.
A Welcome Celebration for new Texas A&M Director of Athletics Trev Alberts will be held at the Kyle Field Hall of Champions (Entry 3) off Wellborn Road at 2 p.m. on Monday. The general public is welcome to attend.

Basketball
The Aggies were chosen among the 68 basketball teams comprising the NCAA Tournament field.
A&M (20-14), a No. 9 seed, will face No. 8 seed Nebraska (23-10) on Friday in Memphis as part of the South regional at 5:50 p.m. on TNT.
Women’s basketball
The Aggies are dancing for the first time since 2020-21, when they advanced to the Sweet Sixteen. This is the fifth time Taylor will participate in March Madness in her nine seasons as a head coach.
As the No. 11 seed in Regional 1 Albany, A&M will face No. 6 seed Nebraska (22-11) in Corvallis, OR, on Friday at 9:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
Baseball
Texas A&M dropped the rubber match of the first SEC series of the year to Florida in Gainesville, 4-2. With the loss, the Aggies fall to 18-2 on the season and 1-2 in conference play.
They have a busy week, playing PVAMU on Wednesday and hosting Mississippi State for a Thursday-Saturday three-game set.
Softball
No. 17 Aggies claimed the series win in Starkville with a doubleheader sweep, but fell 6-5 on Sunday, suffering its first conference loss.
They will play Texas State on Wednesday and host Auburn this weekend.
Track & Field
The Texas A&M track & field team wrapped up competition at the Carolina Spring Break Classic picking up 13 event wins, six all-time marks, five meet records and 11 personal-best performances Saturday at the Pista Atletica Basilio Rodriguez.
