It's the first day of the 2023 Early Signing Period, and Mike Elko and his staff are looking to close strong on another strong class. Below we'll update each Letter of Intent as it becomes official, including links to the full TexAgs profile of each new Aggie. Keep hitting that refresh button.

Lots of film on Miles…strong arm and all depends how he transforms on the next level.

Always take at least 1QB each yr is simple rule of thumb due to how they pan out and injuries (4 QB room is min, but think 5 is preferred as such a crap shoot on who will truly excel at next level).

Agreed and especially with the new transfer rules. Take at least 1 per class to make sure you have possible future depth. Lets say Connor has a great year and leaves early and we have a transfer, leaves the QB room with 3 if we didn't take anyone.

Everyone remember when we almost had a walk on start a bowl game? Yeah lets not do that again

How about Ryan Swope? Mike Evans? Josh Reynolds? They turned out....not bad.

11 was the texags hope for the early period i think. Perhaps just as big is can we keep a few guys we'd like to get from signing now, and instead hold off until February so that we have a shot at them with a full staff.

How/why did staff recruit Miles O'Neill? I know nothing about him other than his offer list, which is interesting. NJ kid with offers mainly from prestigious northeast schools. What did Jimbo (or other coach?) see in him that no other SEC school saw?

he has arguably the strongest arm of any quarterback in high school. he is 6'5 and has good pocket presence. he is jot a scrambling type qb but he can move. has nice touch in his deep balls.

he isn't some no talent scrub this kid has major upside potential. his biggest issue is where he came from, and i think he transferred high schools this year as well.

Also recall a 3-star recruit receiver who caught so many of those Heisman passes who recently set an NFL record for 10 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons to start his NFL career.

My excitement level is no longer tied up in these high school ratings but rather once these guys step on an SEC field and prove they deserve the hype and attention.

Big arm, 70%+ completion rate. Those 2 alone make me feel better than getting someone like Calzada. Add his size and you have the base for a good pro style QB

His development is going to be closely tied to the improvement in the O line as he is not a scrambler. He can get out of the pocket but certainly not gonna win you any games with his legs. The arm is the thing with this kid. And it's pretty elite

Problem is our new OC doesn't run a pro style offensive system. He likes to utilize the QB run and not sure this guy is a fit. Not worried about QB because we'll be able to bring guys in that fit his system via the portal.

This is false. Klein runs what his players are best suited for.
