First visit to A&M leaves strong impression on 2024 WR Ernest Campbell
Speed is always in high demand, and 2024 Refugio (TX) wide receiver Ernest Campbell is one of the fastest and most versatile home run threats in Texas. He received his Texas A&M offer in March, and over the weekend, his family joined him on his first trip to College Station.

A few recruiting notes from the weekend
The Aggies wanted Gary Bryant Jr's last visit and it looks like that is indeed what they got. I'm hearing it was a positive experience for Bryant and his family, and the Aggies may have even taken the lead. I'll stop short of making that statement but all in all it sounds like Jimbo Fisher, the offense, and the university all made a very strong impression as Bryant, Jr looks to figure out his next move. Oregon, Arizona, and Miami are the Aggies main competition and he has visited each school. I am also hearing some positive movement with Maryland DT transfer Anthony Booker. Elijah Robinson is leading the Aggies efforts which is always a good thing and at 6-4, 320 he is the type of run stuffing, gap clogging DL the Aggies do have a need for. I have heard the SEC is a plus and as you'd expect playing time is a key factor as well.TE Colton Heinrich made his way to College Station for his first trip to Aggieland, and the Aggies put a strong foot forward. He didn't know a lot about the A&M offense coming in but he like the way the Aggies utilized the tight end in practice. He also met with coach Coley and coach Fisher and he liked the way coach Fisher coached hard but also was quick to encourage. He did not want to name leaders but the next month is going to be big as he looks to narrow his list and start scheduling some official visits. He didn't know if the Aggies would get one or not but conversations were had.Speaking of first time visitors, wide receivers Parker Livingstone and Ernest Campbell both made their first trips and both had their eyes opened. Campbell plans to return on April 8 to see practice and is also looking to meet with the track coaches. I mentioned earlier on the board he was joined on the trip by his whole family and I hear the there's a good chance he returns for an OV this summer. As for Livingstone, he and his family also enjoyed their face time with the coaches and Jimbo let him know he'd be recruiting him hard. Next up for Livingstone is a trip to LSU and then he's looking to narrow his list and figure out his OVs.I didn't get much info on Solomon Williams visit but in talking to a Florida source it sounds like him and his family enjoyed the trip.Dominick McKinley and Darryus McKinley were joined by their mother and they all got the royal treatment. They spent plenty of time with the staff and really took a hard look at the whole university experience A&M has to offer. I didn't get the sense there was any hurry to make any decisions but getting everyone on campus is always a good thing.I was out at the True Buzz March Madness 7on7 tournament today and saw quite a few young talents. I spoke a little with Kewan Lacy and he says he's talking to A&M about setting up a visit and the Aggies are working their way up his list. I was also told by McKinney 2025 CB Zay Gentry, he and 2025 LB Riley Pettijohn will visit Texas A&M on April 8
