2025 Forney LB Kelvion Riggins commits to Texas A&M
Enforcers in the defensive front seven are always in high demand, and Mike Elko & Co. welcomed the addition of one of the biggest defensive enforcers in Texas as Forney (TX) linebacker Kelvion Riggins announced his commitment to Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker is a violent, sideline-to-sideline defender with explosive downhill ability. He has short space quickness and is comfortable in coverage and in the open field.
These traits, along with an imposing physical presence, have made him a highly sought recruit since his freshman year.
He began his high school career at Dallas South Oak Cliff, and he transferred to Forney before the 2023 season. As a junior, he recorded 101 total tackles, 11 TFLs, six sacks, and 12 QB hurries to help Forney to a 13-2 record and second-team all-district honors.
Riggins becomes the Aggies’ second commitment of the 2025 recruiting class, and he is the first defender in the group. He is currently rated a four-star prospect, and he is ranked No. 27 in the TexAgs Texas Top 100.
