A few weekend recruiting notes
Timpson (TX) standout Terry Bussey made his way to College Station this weekend for a quick unofficial visit, and I'm told he enjoyed his time. He was contemplating between visiting Texas A&M and Texas this weekend so him showing up on College Station was a win in itself. He took in the sights and sounds of Aggieland gameday and spent some quality time with the coaches. Then they hit the road back to Timpson. Next week, he is scheduled to take his official visit to LSU, and if he does make the trip he will have seen all five of his finalists in the last month leading to his Sept. 28 announcement. He visited OU for the Sooners Sept 2 match-up with Arkansas State, he took his official visit to Alabama last weekend where he saw both Alabama and Texas, and he was in College Station this weekend. The Aggies also hosted 2025 cornerback Chuck McDonald III of Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei. McDonald visited in the spring and this weekend he returned with his father for his first game day experience. He spent quality time with BGA and coach Fisher this weekend, and the atmosphere at Kyle Field left a strong impression on both him and his father. He has a number of options and he is looking at visits to Alabama and Notre Dame next. He also belives he will have another trip to College Station in the future. After his game Friday night, Forney (TX) 2025 LB Kelvion Riggins told me he might visit this weekend of homecoming festivities didn't keep him. Well, he was not able to make it. I wouldn't read too much into that and I bet there's a good chance he makes it to College Station in the not too distant future.
