Winslow Township (NJ) receiver Jaylan Hornsby commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M has gone back into the northeastern part of the United States for another verbal commitment in the class of 2024 as wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby from Winslow Township HS in Clementon, New Jersey has announced his verbal pledge to the Aggies via social media today.
At 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, Hornsby brings a physical outside presence to the A&M receiver room. On tape, he shows outstanding natural receiving skills and a knack for out-leaping defenders to high-point the football. He does a lot of his work deep down the sideline and over the middle. He’s a fluid runner with deceptive speed. His highlights remind me a little bit of Quartney Davis coming out of high school. You can view them below.
Overall, Hornsby is the 15th commitment of this cycle and the second receiver — joining Milton (GA) standout Debron Gatling. He chooses Texas A&M over Penn State.
