Wow. As tough of a loss Friday was, this was just as big of a win... Just a phenomenal effort to overcome the tough start and persevere. A lesson in not quitting and playing out the full game by grinding and chipping away.

I thought early the at bats were more reminiscent of pre-LSU... Too many passive takes on hittable pitches in the zone, and fouling off fastballs over the plate. Auburn made so many 0-2 fastball mistakes in the zone and we just kept fouling them off... Gotta put those in play because those guys have good stuff. Minnich finally did that on his RBI single to left center, took advantage of a bad 0-2 fastball.

What else can be said about Dallas? There aren't many players capable of what he did yesterday. It was on the verge of falling apart but his stuff was still good underneath all that... He gave them length yes, but he was dominant along the way. His offspeed was unhittable. They couldn't touch it. Like Schloss said, so glad this guy is an Aggie. Also Johnston and then Rudis.... With Rudis, it can't be overstated what he did. A true freshman getting out of that jam, even one run would've been OK. Nothing, nada with one of the best hitters in the country up? And then two more outs after. And then ANOTHER inning in the 11th. Just stunning.

Massive win and a chance to take the series now. This team is gaining an identity and it's awesome to see them battle. Really excited to see how they progress the rest of conference play.
