Horrific year in so many ways off the court, glad we've got a coach like Buzz to be a steady hand for our team. Hope everyone is healthy and we can at least get some games in to close out the year.

Buzz Williams hopeful Texas A&M will return to game action this week
Key notes from Buzz Williams interview
- Today is March 1, and we're praying March is better a better month than February for our program. The only time we practiced with every player last month was on February 1. It was a Monday, and that was following our victory at Kansas State. The rest of the month, we only had eight practices and did not have a full squad. We're practicing today.
- I like the idea of having bowl-like practices, but coach Fisher probably knows more about what goes into that than I would. The virus doesn't discriminate against age, so we couldn't split up into old and young guys. In some of our practices, we only had four players. It was unique.
- What I can say is so far, so good. There are still tests that need to be completed regarding the virus, and depending on those, we will have a decision on our Wednesday game vs. Mississippi State. We will be able to practice today because everybody's test yesterday came back negative. We had early bird today. I'm not saying my prayers are potent, but I'm hoping they are heard.
- Our kids are all different, and every kid is at a different stage, emotionally and physically. We are all trying to process what has gone on as this has never happened. That's not being negative towards anybody in our program, but there is no playbook on what to do when this occurs. When you miss seven games because of COVID-19 and another game because of the worst snowstorm in the history of Texas, and all of those eight cancelations come in 28 days, it's tough. I seek discernment on how I can treat and help them each day, even though they're all in different places. Finding the right thing to help them as a group is difficult.
- I’ve always thought that when things are bad, you should be aggressive. When things are good, you should be aggressive. I don't know if "aggressive" is the right approach right now because there has been so much instability in the last 11 months. It has created so many non-rhythm and non-routine experiences. Your emotional level changes as a result, and I don't know if I have done a good job.
