Texas A&M survived a scare on Wednesday night as stellar free-throw shooting lifted the Aggies to a 73-66 win over Tarleton State in Billy Gillispie’s return to Reed Arena.

  • Sophomore forward Emanuel Miller made his 2020-2021 season debut and scored a career-high 23 points. Miller also had 10 rebounds to complete the double-double. He was 15-for-16 from the free-throw line.

  • Senior forward N’dea Jones led the way with 16 points for the Aggies.
