With another successful weekend for Aggie Athletics behind us, it's time to take a look at the biggest storylines from Around Aggieland. On Monday's edition of TexAgs Radio, the fish bowl's own Richard Zane shared an update from A&M soccer, volleyball, golf and more.


Football (3-1)
Texas A&M has fallen to No. 8 in this week’s AP Poll as Cincinnati jumped the Aggies following the Bearcats’ 42-13 victory over SMU in Dallas on Saturday night.

The Aggies opened up as +12.5 favorites over Arkansas, but the line has already moved to +10.5, according to ESPN’s PickCenter.

This weekend’s game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Halloween night. The game will be broadcasted on the SEC Network.

Soccer (4-1)
Texas A&M downed Tennessee, 3-1, on Friday night in Knoxville as the Aggies picked up their first-ever victory on Rocky Top.

The Aggies travel to Tuscaloosa on Friday night, October 30, for a 7:00 p.m. CT match with the Crimson Tide.

Volleyball (4-0)
Bird Kuhn and Aggie Volleyball continued their hot start as they swept Ole Miss in Oxford this weekend.

  • 3-1 on Thursday night
  • 3-1 on Friday night

A&M is back in action on November 4 as Mississippi State comes to Aggieland for a pair of matches on Wednesday and Thursday of that week at Reed Arena.

Men’s Golf
After one round of the Legends Collegiate Classic at the Vanderbilt Golf Club, Texas A&M is tied for second (272, -12) and is just one stroke off the lead (Vanderbilt).

  • Sophomore William Paysse shot a seven-under 64 on Sunday for a share of the lead after round one.
  • All four Aggies shot under-par in round one.

Round two is Monday. The final round is Tuesday.

Swimming & Diving
Women’s Swimming and Diving hosted Rice on Friday afternoon in College Station as the Aggies opened up their season.

  • Aggies won the meet, 150-107.

Equestrian
A&M kicks off their 2020 season on Thursday as the Aggies travel to Bishop, Georgia, to face Georgia at the UGA Equestrian Complex.
