In the pilot episode of the new hit daytime drama “As the Season Turns,” we get a glimpse into the lives, loves, triumphs and tragedies of regular, everyday folk who live their lives one game at a time. Today, Blake and Karen get a surprise visitor, civil war erupts at a local health club, a strange smell emanates from a collegiate readery, and a young man suffers … a fate worse than death.

This is why I love you, Zoo. Everyone on Premium has taken sides - they either love this and want more episodes, or they absolutely hate it and have sent us personal emails demanding that we never do anything like it again.

And while they can't make up their minds over there, you have clearly made your choice. And I can appreciate that. I may disagree with the choice, but I can respect it.

I respect the creative process. Not easy to conjure something out of air and create. Sometimes you hit and hit big. Sometimes you get invested in a project and fail to consider whether it should be scrapped midway. Then you convince yourself it was worth the effort. A few years later you look back and say, "Maybe Jar Jar was a bad idea."
