2020 Fort Bend Austin WR Troy Omeire commits to the Aggies

June 8, 2019

Texas A&M has landed a commitment from 2020 Fort Bend Austin WR Troy Omeire‍. Omeire is one of the premier 2020 prospects in the state of Texas and joins Demond Demas‍ and Muhsin Muhammad III‍ as the Aggies’ three wide receiver pledges in the 2020 class.

At 6-4, 190 pounds Omeire is a bonafide playmaker on the outside and passes every test for an elite, top-end player with flying colors. He camped at Texas A&M last summer with 2019 A&M signees Zach Calzada, Demani Richardson, Dylan Wright‍ and Chase Lane‍. At that time, Omeire got to spend a lot of time with Dameyune Craig, Jimbo Fisher and Darrell Dickey. Per sources in the know, Omeire became a priority target for the Aggies in 2020 during that camp in Aggieland.

Omeire’s decision continues A&M’s strong run in Fort Bend ISD in recent years. He ultimately chooses the Aggies over Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Alabama, Auburn, and many others. You can view his junior highlights here.
