Williams, Keke, McCoy to represent Texas A&M at SEC Media Days

Three veteran Texas A&M football players have been chosen to represent the school at SEC Media Days, the Southeastern Conference's largest media showcase. Trayveon Williams, Kingsley Keke and Erik McCoy will take the mic for the Aggies on Monday, July 16, in addition to head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Williams, a junior returning starter at running back, is expected to lead the Aggies' ground attack in Fisher's pro-style offense. Williams rushed for 825 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2017. Keke is a senior defensive lineman who piled up 21 individual tackles and 33 assists while recovering two fumbles last season. McCoy, a redshirt junior, is a three year starter on the offensive line who will anchor a 2018 A&M front that promises to feature some new faces.

The Aggies are sure to face questions regarding life under Fisher, who took over the Texas A&M program in November of last year, and early games against perennial national title contenders Clemson and Alabama.

Jimbo will bring some entertainment that Media Days has lacked since Spurrier left (with the exception of Butch Jones last year).

Yep. Jimbo has a bit of Spurrier's passion and wit. He is the antithesis, personality-wise of stoic, stiff, PC Saban. Yeah, Saban is the Master & blah blah. But Saban is such a ***** ly pear. Fisher is down home, quotable and dips snuff. He is a great fit for the SEC. He will garnish more attention at SECMD than any other coach. Take it to the bank

I don't give two ****s if our coach is entertaining. Notice all the "entertaining" coaches are no longer head coaches in the SEC? Including Les?

Give me a *****ly pear ******* any day that wins a **** ton of football games over an entertaining good ol boy, aw shucks coach that goes 7-5 every year.

If Jimbo wins a bunch of games and is entertaining too, great.
