Texas A&M receives commitment from 2019 Hallsville OL Blake Trainor

Texas A&M has received a verbal commitment today from Hallsville OL Blake Trainor‍. Trainor's pledge comes on the heels of the Aggies big recruiting event that saw a large number of their top prospects and targets make their way to campus for a day full of events and competitions.

The 6-7, 290 pounder from east Texas is the Aggies' 15th commit in the 2019 class, and the second for Jim Turner and Lee Grimes along the offensive line, joining Kenyon Green‍. Trainor chose the Aggies over offers from Houston, Arkansas and Tulsa among others.

Our staff knows a hell of a lot more than I do so obviously I trust them on a smaller school kid.

One thing I noticed is he's often first off the line. Kids this big and tall often look unpolished and sometimes awkward with their footwork and quickness. Not this one, not at all.

Agree with poster about being first off the line.

My only real criticism would be that he looks to celebrate his fantastic pancakes instead of going to get another.
