Mercy Project + TexAgs = Freedom for more child slaves
Howdy Ags! We have a very special opportunity to do something great together as a community by partnering with Mercy Project, a local, Aggie-run non-profit that many of us have grown to love. Please watch the short video above for details.
For those who aren't able to watch, Mercy Project has been working in Ghana, Africa since 2009, where they have rescued more than 100 children out of slavery. They currently have a new village ready to work with them — a village ready to release 8-10 children from slavery — but they need the power of TexAgs to raise the funds for the rescue.
Three generous TexAgs supporters have already pledged to match the first $20,000 given from this community. So that leaves just $30,000 needed to rescue these kids and bring them home to their families forever. That’s just 300 people willing to make a one time $100 gift to help these kids lives forever.
What do you say, TexAgs? Let’s bring these kiddos home.
