Is the Friday before Christmas break the best time to release new content? Probably not. But we know that you faithful TexAggers will be checking in at least once thirty times today in anticipation of a new defensive coordinator. So if he does get announced today — HOORAY! everyone is happy — and if he doesn't, you at least have something new to read as you patiently wait — HUZZAH! everyone is mildly entertained. It's a win-win, folks.

Oh, and publishing today also means that I (and Beware of Doug and J.P. 03) aren't working on this over Christmas. Win-win-win-win-win.

I think the most apt and best depiction of A&M football is the photo of the sleeping Ag. So my wish for the new year (a la the US and Trump) is for us to finally wake up and not only seek but claim our potential.
