After a wild week that featured seven Top 25 losses — including four in the Top 10 — the Aggies left The Swamp with a 19-17 victory and were rewarded with a Top 25 ranking of their own.

Texas A&M comes in at #24 in the Coaches Poll, making its first appearance this year. A&M has been ranked at some point every season since joining the SEC, but has only finished there twice: 2012 (#5) and 2013 (#18).

The SEC has five teams ranked in the Coaches Top 25: #1 Alabama (earned all 63 first place votes), #3 Georgia, #21 Auburn, #24 A&M and #25 LSU.

Full Top 25:
1. Alabama (63)
2. Penn State
3. Georgia
4. TCU
5. Wisconsin
6. Ohio State
7. Miami
8. Clemson
9. Oklahoma
10. USC
11. Oklahoma State
12. Washington
13. South Florida
14. Virginia Tech
15. Michigan
16. Notre Dame
17. NC State
18. Washington State
19. Michigan State
20. UCF
21. Auburn
22. Stanford
23. West Virginia
24. Texas A&M
25. LSU

A&M still hasn't cracked the AP Top 25. Both Memphis at #25 and San Diego State (received 56 votes) came in ahead of the Ags, who received 46 votes.

After two physical games vs. Alabama and Florida, Texas A&M heads into the bye week at a perfect time and will next face Mississippi State on October 28th — the game time will be announced Monday.
