Update (April 17th): The results are in! Congratulations to Trankristy95 and Rskinner0613 for winning an Aggie Ring! Trankristy95 won with an impressive 51% — 4,549 total votes —and Rskinner0613 won with 52% and racked up 7,971 total votes. We had some great entries and got over 24,000 votes, so thanks to everyone who participated and congrats to everyone who earned their rings. Gig 'em.

In case you missed it, we decided to buy two students their Aggie Rings this year. To enter, we asked them to share their Ring Day by posting a photo or a video in a thread on The Student Section (our student-only forum). We got a ton of great entries, and now YOU get to vote on who should win. This is subjective, so feel free to vote on any criteria you want.

It was really tough picking from all the great entries, but our staff individually voted on their favorites and we've posted them below. After you read through them, vote in our poll at the bottom of each category. Voting ends at midnight on Sunday night, April 16th, and we'll announce the winners the following Monday. Good luck and gig 'em!

Top 5 (Girls)

Jordan shared Ring Day with her dad, Alan (Class of '89), who had lost his ring several years ago. When they went to pick up her ring together, she surprised him by handing the presenter a second sheet of paper — this one, to replace his ring. Good bull!

From Kimberly's Instagram: "Today I was blessed not only with a beautiful day, but also my Aggie Ring. Since my dad (class of '89), who was originally going to present me with my ring, is no longer with us, I honored him by wearing his ring next to mine. Thanks to all of those who have helped me in my academic journey and #btho90hours!"

3. Trankristy95
If you made a video for this, you automatically get in the Top 5. Also, the bass drop + tears of joy at the 30-second mark was a nice touch.

4. kmt18
More surprises! We'll let kmt18 tell the story: "My dad was never able to get his Aggie ring coming out of college. My parents had just married, and my dad being a coach was not able to afford his ring. Mom worked as a teachers aid until I was born -- so not much income there either. He has always talked about getting his ring -- however he has always provided for his children and put himself last. This year being my year to order my ring - he went through the Association of former students to buy his ring without me knowing. On ring day he gave me my ring and told me to look at how cool the boxes were! I opened the box and saw his ring -- It was great getting to give my dad his ring after him not having one for 25 years!"

Summer raises guide dogs for the blind (which is awesome) and celebrated getting her Aggie Ring with one of her pups. For the record, you're allowed to vote based solely on puppy cuteness. This is subjective, after all.

jbt2018 posted this awesome re-creation of a 21 year-old family photo at Olsen Field with his dad on Ring Day.

2. Rskinner0613

Reagan is the fifth Skinner to get their Aggie Ring. From left to right below: Class of '11, 15, '18, '84 and '86 (the tweet is from his sister).

3. Sek415
Like I said above, you make a video, you're in! Sek415 managed to squeeze in a mimosa, golf cart rims, Kyle Field and a Lord of the Rings reference into a one minute video. Enjoy!

4. Mfischer0811
This volunteer should train all future Aggie Ring volunteers.

5. dillonparkhill
Using an internet meme to perfection qualifies you for the Top 5.
