Game #36: Texas A&M 9, Oklahoma State 2
Records: Texas A&M 33-3 (10-2 SEC); Oklahoma State 25-13 (6-0 Big 12)
WP: Trinity Harrington (11-1)
LP: Brandi Needham (12-5)

It was a fun night at the Aggie Softball Complex as Texas A&M (33-3, 10-2 SEC) wrangled the Oklahoma State Cowgirls, 9-2.

The Cowgirls got off to a strong start as they loaded the bases and scored a run in the top of the first inning.

However, the Aggies wasted no time stepping into the spotlight and getting on the board. In the bottom of the frame, Riley Sartain stepped up and doubled to right field, batting in both Tori Vidales and Kaitlyn Alderink. Ashley Walters and Samantha Show also had great performances at the plate, working together to bring in three more runs in the inning.

Sartain, who entered the game with eight home runs on the season, added two more on Friday. She hit a solo run homerun in the bottom of the second and a two-run bomb in the sixth. Vidales also got a piece of action, adding a solo home run to the Aggie total.

"It was great to see our kids go up to the plate and have such quality at-bats," Texas A&M coach Jo Evans said. "It is impressive that we just played the game. We are showing signs of maturity, and I am really happy about that."

The Aggies will be back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the Aggie Softball Complex for game two of the three-game series.
