The offense was off to a slow start with Riley getting thrown out trying to stretch a single into a double and Erica leaving first base too soon. The key play in the 4th was when Keeli checked her swing with 2 strikes and hit the next pitch back to the pitcher who threw home for the force and the catcher dropped the ball. Just before that Jo had Alex pinch run for Breanna at 3rd and Alex scored before the catcher picked the ball up after droppiing it..
It was very important that Trinity pitched 5 good innings. Tori had a webgem when she caught that line drive in foul territory in the 5th inning.
