Experts Weigh In: Aggies become a trendy Final Four pick

One of the best events in all of sports is here — and if you're an Aggie, it's more exciting than usual.

After a prolonged absence from the NCAA Tournament, Texas A&M is in the field this year as a No. 3 seed. And what better way to celebrate than by combing through every bracket possible?

A trend emerged as we scoured the net for prognostications: after their strong showing in the SEC Tournament and in light of their mix of experience, inside-out play and depth, the Aggies are a hot pick to turn the West Region upside down.

Nearly one third (12 of 40) of the experts whose brackets we could track down listed Texas A&M as reaching the Final Four, with an additional 38 percent picking the Aggies to at least the Sweet 16.
