I spent a lot of time trying to prepare to make this interview as honest and candid as I could ... I thought Billy gave very honest answers and I certainly didn't shy away from the overwhelming negatives. Were the answers what Aggies wanted to hear? No, probably not. But was he being 100 percent brutally honest based on exactly what he feels is wrong with this team? Yes, I believe so.

He needs competent assistants that can help with x&o and players' development. So far recruiting is not bad but our team plays with no ideas of how to adjust during the game... Other players have digressed (eg FHarris). He keeps talking about talent yet i think we have enough players to be competitive this season.

Surely he jests. My grade school coaches would have this one figured out. Not sure what he is doing in practice, but it is not basketball fundamentals.

even though I've been very critical of billy kennedy, I have to give him credit for having the guts to appear on texags to discuss the state of the team.
