Famous Field, once an orphan and trafficked child slave in Ghana, is now home with his new family in College Station. Rescued by Mercy Project, he and his father celebrated his new life at Kyle Field.
The idea that a child would have to learn that he won't be disowned or made to go hungry for misbehaving is so awful. It really makes me thankful for the blessings I have and for good people like the father in the video.
"Create in me a clean heart, O God." Psalm 51 "The Orcs made no boast of that duel at the gates; neither do the Elves sing of it, for their sorrow is too deep." The Silmarillion, Of the Ruin of Beleriand
Pretty sure that someone is cleaning in my office because there is obviously dust in the air. My eyes can't seem to handle it at this point....Awesome story!!!!
Important Question - would love to get involved somehow with your group. Where can I email you about that. My email is in my profile if you want to drop me a line.

Mercy Project is the name of Chris' organization. Great people doing great work. Just fyi for anyone that wants to know, they have an annual 5k run in CS called Turkey Trot and the money goes toward those kids and Mercy Project.
