The idea that a child would have to learn that he won't be disowned or made to go hungry for misbehaving is so awful. It really makes me thankful for the blessings I have and for good people like the father in the video.

Gig 'em and God bless.

Awesome! Famous probably thinks that we are all lazy for not working 14 hours a day. If he keeps up that work ethic he will go far!

Chris, I'm really happy for you guys. You look a lot like your Dad.

And yes, I mean that in two different ways.

For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

LOVED this story! One question: When you're able to rescue the kids out of slavery, how often do they not have families to go home to? Just curious.

Important Question - would love to get involved somehow with your group. Where can I email you about that. My email is in my profile if you want to drop me a line.

Mercy Project is the name of Chris' organization. Great people doing great work. Just fyi for anyone that wants to know, they have an annual 5k run in CS called Turkey Trot and the money goes toward those kids and Mercy Project.

Great video and so glad this story is being told. I'm proud to know you Chris. Never forget the trip to Huntsville and "the Garth Brooks CD"!! hahahaha Government Goonies forever!
