What other games have the refs blatantly assisted the sips?

Mack looked very worried but apparently DeLoss called the Refs at halftime and got them back on track.

2006 NC game with SC. V'ints knee was down before he pitched the ball. The list is long and distinguished, like my johnson.

The game their entire program uses as their battle cry of greatness. Should have never happened if not for a missed call.

There was a game with an ungodly penalty disparity in Lubbock... think it might have been the trip before the Crabtree game

Was definitely during the Fran years

Rice had them beat, I think in 93 or 95, actually scored, and ref called it back.

There is a long list, this is not something that just started.RC raised hell about refs from the same school calling games for their alma mater because of the jobbing we got up at Lubbock one game. That plus JTaylor being a blatant fan. The list goes on and on. They should be embarrassed. But they're sips so they wont be.

2006. The Big 12 allows teams to send in video from plays in each game for clarification and evaluation. I think Leach requested the entire game film be evaluated, and the Big 12 evaluation team determined at least 27 plays were called incorrectly in favor of the horns.

Here's the NY Times where Leach was fined 10k for calling out the refs in 2007:

If the officials didn't save UT so consistently, under Mack Brown, they would have one conference title in 2005. That's it.

No MNC in 2005.
No conference title in 2009.
No MNC game in 2009.

A&M would have probably left the conference with a win over UT.

I think we can safely say they would have lost an average of at least 1 more conference game in each of Brown's seasons.

Anyone know why some youtube clips load and play just fine on an Android operating system phone, but other ones won't play?1

That's what I was trying to get to in the OP. It seems every year there is a game the sips would have lost without ref help:

2013 Iowa State
2012 Oklahoma State
2011 Texas A&M
2010 Nebraska
2009 B12 Championship Nebraska
2007 Nebraska
2007 Texas Tech
2006 Texas Tech
2004 Kansas

I'm not including the 2005 MNC because I don't think those were Big 12 Refs.

Were there any ref assisted games in 2008?

We are now the premier program in the state because of the last game against you. No butthurt here.

I'm not butthurt.....I love it.

The terrible officiating has:

1) Allowed us to have another excuse to move to the SEC
2) Allowed us to get rid of Sherman and hire Sumlin
3) Probably kept Mack around about 3 years too long.

I do not think it is doing what you think it's doing.

Butthurt? We're not bitter; we're grateful.

If it wasn't for your refs calling this non-penalty, we'd still have Sherman. Jameil Showers would be our starting quarterback, and we'd be a middle of the pack SEC team.

Instead, we have Sumlin. Johnny Heisman Football is our quarterback. We're the premier program in Texas and we scare the shtt out of Nick Saban.

There's no reason for us to be bitter. Send our regards to J Taylor.

Sourgrapes; the Butthurt is mostly forgotten. Now we are here discussing the long history of BDF Refs bad calls that always seem to favor the sips and usually result in a sip win. The list above is at least 9 games in the last 10 years that bad calls by the BDF Refs played a major factor in a sip win.

Sourgrapes you should realize that other teams in other conferences will take notice if they have not all ready. Why do you think that other teams would consider playing tu in a OOC game if there is even a possibility that the BDF Refs will steal the game for the sips ??? Why do you think that Stoops runs up the score on you every year ??? Maybe he knows the refs will give the sips the game if it close. I think that other BDF teams will adopt that attitude when playing the sips. Why would any other conference consider sips for membership when they see activities like this in the BDF ??? Why would any good teams consider joining a conference where the fairness of the officiating is in question ??? Fla St, Miami, GT, Clemson, a couple of others were all rummored to be invited to the BDF but declined. The sip reputation is already not a good one for many reasons, allowing and supporting this kind of officiating only hurts it more. You are slowly detroying yourselves and the entire conference, but because of your ego you just do not realize it.
Silent For Too Long
How long do you want to ignore this user?
You know what's funny, this has nothing to do with the sips "success." Oklahoma is far and away the most succesfull program in the BDF, but you seldom hear anything about a pro sooner ref conspiracy. Yet every single fanbase currently and formerly from the Big 12 is 100% convinced the sips get home cooking from Big 12 officials. Look at any message board.

Yet, it's us that are delusional, right sips?

It's the first and only time in football that a review has been called to see if a pass thrown away hit the ground with 0.0 on the clock or 0.5.
In other words, they had to pull something out of their asses to give the horns another shot
