That 1988 North Texas team was pretty good. They played 3 SWC teams that season - Tech, tu, and Rice. They beat Tech 29-24 in Lubbock, and beat Rice 33-17 in Houston. Obviously, they should have won the game in Austin. Too bad they got jobbed.
