we get Rice on Tuesday, then South Carolina on Sunday to start conference play.aginlakeway said:

Then we're on the road the following week at OU on Wednesday and at Arkansas on Sunday.
Then we're get a big matchup with Florida at home October 16th.
If it's a tweak I hope she's back for that game, but even then I think we can handle Florida at home and thankfully it's an easy start into conference play. 3 and a half week till a ranked matchup. Let's hope she recovers, no rush!

Congrats to Lufe - so proud of this young team stepping up when they get opportunities!
I don't have passing stats but Creighton seemed really off. In 3rd set they kept getting points out of system though so props to them for the fight they put up. It's going to be strange to see them fall out of top25 - been awhile.
Reminder Rice also beat Creighton last weekend. Show up if you can! We need to continue high-level of play next five games ahead of our tougher conference foes.

The match earlier this week against SFA was definitely going to be a match that she saw action in as we were just going to overwhelm them. When they called her number to go in the match, it looked like she was wearing an Apple Watch (which is prohibited as you can communicate electronically with it) which the officials made her take off. There was a delay while she took it off and we were issued a yellow card for unsporting behavior and the delay.
When you are #3 or 4 on the depth chart at a position and this is what you do when given an opportunity, it is not a good look at all. It just exudes being unserious. I'm not sure why any player would come out of the locker room with a device on to text and such with others. They do this everyday and all know better. I don't know if she thought she could get away with it because she doesn't normally play and didn't realize SFA was going to be different.
I don't know if we suspended her for this trip or it is something else.

Rice is really good! They beat Creighton and Mississippi State 3-1, they took a set from Louisville and TCU as well!
They are led at the pin position by our 2027 signee Sophee Peterson's older sister Sydnee and have a strong middle! Like creighton they have switched around different offenses with 3 setters seeing time. Against the better opponents they've been running a 6-2

I think it is absolutely possible, but this is just my and your opinions against Jaime's. None of us know.
I can tell you that no one on the bench was happy with it at all.
