After the buzzer sounded in the championship game confetti fell from the ceiling. Blue and gold confetti. Not maroon and white, of course, because ND was supposed to win against those upstart Aggies.

Were you in the band with me? Because I was in the band for that game. You are exactly right. No one gave us a chance. Stanford was so smug and their band was very arrogant and when we sent them packing, it was sweet justice. Then for the championship game because it was an Indianapolis, it was a home game for Notre Dame. As you said, once we won the confetti that came down was blue gold, and green the colors of Notre Dame. I still have the confetti somewhere in storage. That was one of the coolest moments of my time at A&M and was the last game I ever played in the band because I graduated a month later.

I hope the volleyball women gets to experience glory like the 2011 women's basketball team did

Talking heads between matches talking about parity in the sport. Blue bloods losing. #1s losing. Maybe if they would pay attention to the other teams and see what is going on rather than just giving 1 seeds to blue bloods they wouldn't be so surprised.

Wisconsin was playing with so much confidence, Kentucky felt out of it. Feels like Carr/Hudson have been quiet for most of the match and Hudson is the fire of that team. I think Wisconsin will regret not putting away that second set, the opportunities were there.

I've been thinking the same thing, but I didn't want to jinx it so I kept it to myself. That 2011 team couldn't be denied. Same with this team.
