someone on volleytalk said we were 3 on Pablo before the Nebraska match. The analytics show we are that good, just the media and everyone else have ignored us all season and favored the "blue bloods".

They also ignored us all last year barely breaking the top 25 before the post season. Then suddenly we were a top 10 team.

The disagreement is no one thought we could do this in basketball that year. The NC was great but many things fell our way.

Many thought we could do this in VB from day one this season. This team beat a 33-0 team at their place!

So trying to relate the two makes no sense to me.

We had a generational college talent in 2011 not unlike Johnny in 2012 who willed us to the NC with some mighty game planning help.

The similarity is we surprised a perennially good team in both sports in the regional final to make the F4. And hopefully we clean up UK Sunday. They did fantastic coming back from behind against Wiscy.

Something you love to see…

We had 4 departures from the program last year. One due to graduation, 2 grad transfers, and one transfer. Ellee Stinson, Brooke Jeffrey, Molly Brown, and Ital Lopuyo. All were at the game yesterday in maroon and cheering on their former teammates, some even spending time with the team. That's the culture of this program.

Also a bunch of our signees and recruits were there as well

The morning after the win over #9 ranked Louisville I was thinking WOW, a reverse sweep against a very good team!

The morning after the Nebraska win I was STILL thinking WOW, we downed the #1 ranked and undefeated team!

This morning STILL thinking WOW, we not only knocked off #4 ranked Pitt but swept them, their first sweep loss of the season!

Jamie talks about the team's ability to respond - they sure in the heck have done that this tournament!

Kentucky beat us 3-1 earlier in the year. We now have the chance to respond to that loss on Sunday.

We were very close to pushing Kentucky to 5 in that match. We are playing much better volleyball now. It is going to be another good game.

He talked about the team wanting another shot at Kentucky in the SEC tourney. Talking about response, Jamie and the players talked about that loss and feeling the finality of that loss, and then getting to play in the NCAA tourney.

My trio is section 120, bought tickets off of stubhub. I think the big Aggie group was in 118 or 117 .

We've had 4 losses on the season: SMU, TCU, Kentucky and Texas.

Should we win it all, SMU will be the only one that could give the excuse "we beat #1". TCU was avenged. Texas we had already beaten them earlier. Kentucky would have been avenged.

Not to make excuses, but more of a reminder. SMU was game 5 of a 6 game away stretch to start the season. We didn't play in Reed until Sept 18. SMU was also game 3 of a 4 game in a week road trip that had us playing in Utah (Utah and Utah State) on Thursday and Friday and then SMU on Tuesday and TCU on Wednesday.

All part of "getting comfortable with being uncomfortable"
