Your numbers are correct comparing the data for those who have caught Covid. The super duper scary 20X MORE LIKELY TO DIE number comes from the death/100,000 in the general population with or without Covid. So without a vaccine my chance of death is .012%. With the vaccine my chance of death is .00053%. Like I said early on, I will continue to roll the dice in my quest for natural immunity. The fact that I haven't caught Covid yet makes me wonder if I ever will.

ETA: My chance of death is far lower than the 0.012% number for my age group. I don't know the numbers but I would wager that over 90% of the deaths in my age group had more than one comorbidity. I have zero. I'm more concerned about a volcano popping up in my neighborhood than I am about dying from Covid.

Car accident due to stupid driving / speeding.

Lung cancer due to years of smoking.

Shooting due to gang violence.

Heart attacks due to obesity / unmanaged other issues.

It's been this way for awhile, especially on this board and IRL on a larger scale, but it's pretty clear everyone is giving up on trying to convince others through rational conversation and just star whoring at this point.

1. Your wife is an RN correct, not a CRNA? An RN cannot intubate.

So I appraise foreclosures for the bank, or determine liquidation value for the most expensive assets most people will ever own in their life...doctors, lawyers, bankers, politicians are all professions that suffer foreclosures due to foolish life choices.

I would NEVER, EVER call any of those people dumb in public or private regardless of what foolish choices they have made. Doing foreclosures can be gut wrenching, and situations like that can drive people to suicide.
