I can't speak for everyone else, but I haven't worried about that at all.
It takes 4 doses of the polio vaccine to reach maximum effectiveness. A lot of vaccines take multiple shots.
I get the flu vaccine every year. When you're primary caregiver for elderly loved ones you do that. It's no biggie.

So what I cannot find....for polio vaccine...it seems 3 or 4 shot regimen was always the plan, correct? Or did it start as 1, then go to 2, then to 3 and then finally peaked at 4?
I feel like it was always multiple (3 or 4) and they knew it.
COVID / MRNA seems to be flying by the seat of the pants a bit more with will we need 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or annual or twice a year or event quarterly for high risk...we still have no idea....
