Responding to you claiming I'm changing my metrics from death to sickness and using 2 different outcomes to fit my argument. I stated the narrative of the vaccine has changed as outcomes of vaccinated people have changed. Also stated how I felt when I had COVID and how people I know who have had COVID felt. Mentions of Death or Sickness: 2
Thank you for proving my point. Your brought up sickness for a reason against vaccination and then possibility of death as a reason to not get vaxxed. And then the CDC got brought in even though I never mentioned nor do I care about the CDC.
You like being proven wrong, don't you? My exact quote you're referencing about bringing up sickness:
Quote:
Actually, it is. The OP and his wife's chances of having any real issues and/or dying from COVID are small. In fact, from what people describe getting the vaccine is like, he may feel worse from the vaccine than COVID. Whether you want to admit it or not, the OP is in a very low risk age group (sans any health issues) where COVID risk is minimal.
Could he or his wife be an exception? Yes. But you can't use that as justification for getting the vaccine and ignore the exceptions for those who have received the vaccine and have had issues. Doing so is disingenuous
That's not "[bringing] up sickness for a reason against vaccination." I'm stating an opinion given the OP's age and risk. And deaths? I never brought up deaths as a reason to not get the vaccine.
You don't care what the CDC says? You'd think using data from the one organization everyone looks to for COVID information would be better than posting info from the media or opinion pages. Guess facts are too much for some.
